In place of left-arm spin bowler Axar Patel, fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been given a place in the team. Akshar will now be with the team as a reserve player in place of Shardul. There are total 3 reserve players. Apart from this, 8 other players have also been added to the team for preparation. That is, apart from the 15-member team, 11 additional players will be with the team. Dhoni’s favorite player Deepak Chahar will also be with the team as a reserve player. The team has to play the first match against Pakistan on 24 October.
