The biggest match of this World Cup will be played between India and Pakistan on 24 October (IND vs PAK T20 World Cup). Before this match, former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad has given important advice to his team. Miandad said that the match against India will not be easy. Miandad said on Geo News that it is not necessary that players who generally perform well should also shine in the match against India. Every player needs to play according to his role. He further said that consistency is the key to defeating India, asking Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Ramiz Raja to focus on cricket and winning matches.
Pakistan could not beat India in the World Cup
Pakistan has not been able to beat India in the World Cup till date. The last time both the teams met face to face in the 2019 ODI World Cup. Then in the match held in Manchester, India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 140 runs for India in this match. At the same time, both the countries last met in the T20 World Cup in 2016. In that match in Kolkata also, victory defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets. Then Virat Kohli played an important role in the victory of Team India playing a swashbuckling innings of 55 runs.
Pakistan team will play two practice matches
Before the match against India in the T20 World Cup on October 24, Pakistan will play two warm-up matches. The first match will be against West Indies in Dubai on 18 October, while the second will be against South Africa in Abu Dhabi on 20 October. Recently, the team of England and New Zealand canceled their tour of Pakistan. Because of this, Pakistan’s preparations for the T20 World Cup were affected.
