T20 World Cup 2021 Kapil Dev said Hardik Pandya bowling will not effect team India Kapil Dev clarified

New Delhi: There is no doubt that Hardik Pandya is one of the best all-rounders of all time. But recently he has given up bowling completely. The big reason behind this is his fitness. In such a situation, Team India may also have to suffer from this in the current T20 World Cup. But the captain Kapil Dev, who won the World Cup for Team India, has now given a big statement on this matter.

Kapil said this on Hardik

Former India captain Kapil Dev has said that all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s absence from bowling will not affect the Indian team’s chances of the ICC T20 World Cup. Kapil, however, said that it will make a difference in the combination and options for Virat Kohli. Kapil’s statement came at a time when Hardik did not bowl in the practice match against England on Monday.

Hardik will not fall out

Kapil told Sportskeeda, ‘An all-rounder is different for the team. Hardik not bowling won’t affect the team’s chances but it will be a bit different for Kohli as a substitute. If the all-rounder is available to do both, the captain gets a chance to rotate the bowler’s ability. He said, ‘In Hardik’s case, India will not be affected because they have talented players in the team. But if he bowls even two overs, it will give flexibility.

There have been 5 matches between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, in which till date Pakistan has not won from India. On October 24, both the teams will face each other after two years.
