New Delhi. Pakistani opener Mohammad Rizwan has gifted his number 16 jersey to an Indian doctor. In fact, before the semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2021 against Australia, Rizwan was admitted to the ICU and was treated by the Indian doctor. According to Khaleej Times, the Pakistani batsman thanked the doctors for his treatment a day before the semi-finals and gifted his jersey with autographs.
Before the semi-final, Rizwan had to be admitted to the ICU of Medore Hospital in Dubai due to chest infection. He was treated by Dr Shaheer Sanalbadin. According to PTI, Rizwan told the doctors in the ICU that I have to play, stay with the team. According to media reports, he was taken to the hospital late night on 9 November.

He was also having trouble breathing. Shaheer said that Rizwan was eager to play in this important knockout match. He was committed and full of confidence. I was surprised by his recovery so quickly. Rizwan scored 67 runs in 52 balls despite all the adversity in the semi-final.
His team, however, lost to Australia by 5 wickets in this match. Talking about Rizwan’s cricket career, the 29-year-old wicket-keeper batsman has played 17 Tests, 41 ODIs and 49 T20 Internationals so far. He has scored 914 runs in Tests with 1 century, 6 half-centuries, 864 runs in ODIs with 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries. He has scored a total of 1346 runs in T20 International format at an average of 51.76.
