T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier Kuwait womens team make only 27 runs Nepal got victory

In response, Nepal women’s team (Kuwait Women vs Nepal Women) achieved the target in just 21 balls by losing one wicket. In this way, the team won this match by a huge margin of 9 wickets.

Kuwait women’s team won the toss and decided to bat. The entire team returned to the pavilion after scoring 27 runs in 15.4 overs. Opener batsman Priyada Murali scored the highest 10 runs. No other player could touch the double figure. The team’s score was 24 runs for 3 wickets at one time. The team lost the last 7 wickets for 3 runs. Off-spinner Sangeeta Rai took 3 wickets for 2 runs. Team got victory in the fourth over

Chasing the target of 28 runs, Nepal’s start was not good though. The team lost the first wicket on the sum of one run. After this, captain Rubina scored 12 not out and Indu Burma scored 13 not out and gave the team a 9-wicket victory. Nepal achieved the target in 3.3 overs i.e. 21 balls. This is the team’s second win in 3 matches. This is Kuwait’s third consecutive defeat.

15 matches will be held between 6 teams

A total of 6 teams are participating in the tournament. There will be a total of 15 matches between them. The matches are being played in Dubai from 22 to 28 November. Apart from Nepal and Kuwait, teams from UAE, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Bhutan are participating in the tournament. The top team of the tournament will get a chance to play in the World Cup qualifiers. The T20 World Cup is to be held in South Africa in 2023.
