T20 World Cup Final You don’t see that often from a spinner Sachin Tendulkar makes striking observation about star bowler

The final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is to be played between Australia and New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium this evening. Both the teams would like to fulfill their dream of winning this trophy for the first time. New Zealand’s team has a chance to win the second title this year after winning the ICC World Test Championship title. However, Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa can stop this dream of the Kiwi team from being fulfilled. Zampa has taken 12 wickets in this tournament so far. A vital part of the Australian team, Zampa bowls at an unbelievable economy rate during the middle overs. Now India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar is also surprised to see his impressive bowling figures. Sachin said that Zampa releases the ball by observing the movement of the batsman, which a leg-spinner is not usually seen doing.

Tendulkar has praised Australian leg-spinner Zampa in a video posted on Facebook. He said that Zampa bowls by watching the movement of the batsman. “I have noticed one thing in Zampa’s bowling. When the batsman is out, his ball release point is later. If you release the ball just above your head, it is more or less a good length ball. You release the ball when the hand goes slightly in front of the head, meaning if the release point is later, the ball is mostly short-pitched. So he was releasing the ball later when the batsman was getting out.

He further said, when the batsmen were not coming out, he was releasing the ball early. Delivery was not fast, length was ahead. I remember a commentator saying he was almost bowling yorker length. You don’t often see a leg spinner doing this. Sometimes the left arm spinner hits the ball hard. It is not easy for a leg-spinner to do so.
