T20 World Cup You have not given any chance to the bowlers yet Zaheer Khan against making any changes to Indian bowling lineup – Latest Cricket News

In the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, India will face Afghanistan in an important match of Group 2 today. Before this match to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan has given a special advice to Team India. This advice of Zaheer is regarding the bowling line-up of the Indian team. The former fast bowler is against any change in the Indian team’s bowling line-up for this crucial match. He backed the bowlers saying that the Indian batsmen have not given enough scores for the bowlers to do their job in this tournament so far and hence they cannot be blamed for the losses against Pakistan and New Zealand.

Zaheer said in a show on Cricbuzz, ‘I don’t think he should change the bowling line-up because you have not given any chance to the bowlers yet. If you had scored so many runs and the bowlers had not done their job, it would have been understandable. But it didn’t happen. You lost two matches because you didn’t score the required runs. I don’t think there should be any discussion on that. Most of the issues are form-based that we haven’t seen batting in this tournament so far.

The Indian team, led by Virat Kohli, will now have to win their remaining three matches by a huge margin to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive. At the same time, the team will also have to depend on the results of the other teams in their group. Regarding batting, Zaheer said that India should either stick with Ishan Kishan as an opener or go again with Rohit and KL Rahul.
