Taskin Ahmed became special for Bangladesh, included in the selected 3 players to do this feat in T20

New Delhi. The second match of the ongoing T20 series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan is being played in Sylhet on 16 July. In this exciting match, Bangladeshi fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has achieved a special achievement by dismissing the Afghan opener. He has become the third bowler for his team to take more than 50 wickets in T20 format.

Shakib Al Hasan’s name in first place:

Experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan holds the record for taking the most wickets in T20 format for Bangladesh. Hasan has played 117 * matches for the Bangladeshi team since 2006, taking the maximum 138 wickets in 115 innings at an average of 20.68.

After Hasan, the name of fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman comes in second place. Rahman has taken 101 wickets at an average of 22.53 in 84 innings, playing 85 * matches for his team in the shortest format of cricket since 2015.

After these two bowlers, now Taskin Ahmed’s name comes in the third place. Ahmed has played 54 * T20 matches for Bangladesh since 2014 till the news is written. Meanwhile, he has got 51 successes in 52 innings at an average of 27.29.

Ahmed returned the pavilion to Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Jazai:

Batting first after losing the toss in Sylhet, Afghanistan scored 39 runs in 7.2 overs until the game was stopped due to rain. Meanwhile, the team has also suffered two major setbacks. The players dismissed for the Afghan team are Rahmanullah Gurbaz (08) and Hazratullah Zazai (04). Taskin Ahmed has shown the way to the pavilion to both these batsmen.
