He had decided not to participate in the trials of the Under-19 team due to board exams. However, on the persuasion of VVS Laxman, the Chief of the National Cricket Academy, she agreed and now in the very first match of the Women’s Under-19 World Cup, she has made everyone her admirer by playing a stormy innings.

In May last year, Shweta Sehrawat wrote a letter to National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief VVS Laxman, stating that she would miss the women’s U-19 camp from May 15 to June 9 due to her Class XII board exams.
