He played a stormy inning of 92 runs in 57 balls. However, Shweta might not be a part of the Women’s Under-19 World Cup being played for the first time. He had decided not to participate in the trials of the Under-19 team due to board exams. However, on the persuasion of VVS Laxman, the Chief of the National Cricket Academy, she agreed and now in the very first match of the Women’s Under-19 World Cup, she has made everyone her admirer by playing a stormy innings.

In May last year, Shweta Sehrawat wrote a letter to National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief VVS Laxman, stating that she would miss the women’s U-19 camp from May 15 to June 9 due to her Class XII board exams. Shefali played an inning of 45 runs in 16 balls. He scored 9 fours and a six. Shweta and Shefali together added 77 runs in the first 7 overs. After Shefali’s dismissal, the team’s vice-captain Shweta took the lead and played a stormy innings to win the team. Shweta hit 20 fours in her innings of 92 runs.
