He made 5th consecutive century in Vijay Hazare Trophy
New Delhi. Tamil Nadu’s N Jagadishan continues to perform well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This young man has made a world record by scoring five consecutive centuries one after the other. As soon as he scored a century against Arunachal Pradesh on Monday, this batsman made such a record in his name where no one had been able to reach before. In Vijay Hazare’s fifth consecutive match, this Jagadishan left behind former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara by scoring a century.
N Jagadishan has shown amazing form in Vijay Hazare. Out of the 6 matches played so far, he has scored a century in 5. This batsman scored a double century for Tamil Nadu coming out to bat first against Arunachal Pradesh on Monday 21 November. Jadgishan made his first century off 78 balls, while he faced only 38 balls to score the next 100 runs.

Till now no batsman had scored 5 consecutive centuries in List A cricket. Jagadishan made a world record by scoring 100 runs against Arunachal Pradesh. He equaled the record of 4 consecutive centuries of former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara and South Africa’s Albir Peterson in the last match. Virat Kohli, Prithvi Shaw, Rituraj Gaikwad, Devdutt Padikkal have scored 4 centuries in one season of Vijay Hazare.
