The 23-year-old talented fast bowler has been roped in by Gujarat Titans, captained by Hardik Pandya, in the IPL 2023 auction. Gujarat Titans made Joshua Little their own in the mini auction held in Kochi for 4 crore 40 lakhs.

Left hand pacer Joshua Little is the first player from Ireland to get an IPL contract. Joshua is eagerly waiting to play in IPL. He termed it as ‘unbelievable’. Joshua said that he is very excited to work with Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and head coach Ashish Nehra. Joshua created a sensation by taking a hat-trick against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup this year.

Defending champions Gujarat Titan won the IPL title in their debut season under the leadership of Hardik Pandya and coached by former Indian pacer Nehra. Little said in a statement to Cricket Ireland, ‘I am very happy that I have been signed by the current champions Gujarat Titans. I am excited to play in such a wonderful team under the leadership of Hardik Pandya.

According to Joshua, ‘I am also excited to work with coach Ashish Nehra and thank the management of Titans who reposed faith in me.’ This left-arm fast bowler made his debut in International Cricket in 2016. He has played 22 ODIs and 53 T20 international cricket matches so far.

Little said, ‘I love playing in international cricket for Ireland and it will always be my priority, but to play in the IPL and learn there will be an incredible opportunity.
