During this innings, opener KL Rahul scored 199 runs, while Karun came at number five and registered his name in the pages of history by scoring a triple century. He scored 303 runs in 381 balls hitting 32 fours and 4 sixes. After this excellent innings, he could not prove himself in all the opportunities he got. Karun played only 6 Tests and 2 ODIs for India.
