Fast bowler Umran Malik, who came from Jammu and Kashmir, bowled the fastest ball of this IPL season in his debut match and became the fastest bowler of the tournament.
Seized the opportunity as a replacement
Fast bowler Umran Malik, who came from Jammu and Kashmir, in his debut match against Kolkata, made the record of bowling the fastest ball of this IPL season by bowling at a speed of 150.06 KMH. Actually, he was given a chance to play the match by Hyderabad team instead of T Natarajan, which he cashed in quite well. Umran bowled well, however, he did not get any wicket. He gave 27 runs in the bowling of 4 overs.
Shami-Bumrah left behind
Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are not even around in the list of fastest deliveries. Umran bowled the fastest ball of this IPL season. Earlier, RCB fast bowler Mohammad Siraj had bowled the fastest ball of this tournament at a speed of 147.68 kmph. Khaleel Ahmed of Hyderabad is at number three who has bowled the ball at a speed of 147.38 kmph.
Hyderabad out of IPL
Sunrisers Hyderabad team has already been out of the tournament due to its poor performance in IPL 2021 and still the poor performance of the team continues. In the match against Kolkata, Hyderabad, batting first, gave a modest target of 115 runs, which KKR easily achieved and won the match.
