These two players of Team India have power

Rahul was in excellent form during the IPL and he finished third in the list of highest run scorers. His Punjab Kings teammate Shami has bowled quite well in the recent past, including a stellar performance in the warm-up match against England.

Brett Lee revealed

Lee wrote in a column for the ICC, “I think with the top four or five batsmen and a bowling attack, India are probably a strong contender for the title. Looking at the performance of the last few months, in my view KL Rahul will be the top scorer of the tournament and Mohammed Shami will be the highest wicket taker. So if they can perform as expected and India have the top scorers and top wicket takers, it will be a good start. Lee also believes that teams from the Indian sub-continent will do well in UAE conditions.

Australia considered a contender

Lee hopes that Australia will be able to win their maiden T20 World title. Australia will start their campaign against South Africa on Saturday. Lee said, ‘We haven’t had much success in this format, now it’s time to change it and we have a team that can win the title. It will not be easy though, especially when you see how strong the teams of England, India and New Zealand are.
