Threat to Suryakumar Yadav’s reign, Pak batsman can take away the number-1 crown! Form is also not supporting in ODI-Test

New Delhi. Suryakumar Yadav’s T20 reign is under threat. On the basis of consistent performance, Surya had defeated big teams in the shortest format of the game. This is the reason why he was given a chance in ODIs and Tests as well. Surya, who has been struggling with poor form for the past few months, is now in danger of losing the number-1 chair in T20 as well. Once again the crown of number-1 can be adorned on the head of opener Mohammad Rizwan of neighboring country Pakistan.

Suryakumar Yadav has a total of 906 points in the ICC T20 rankings. He is still the number-1 bowler in T20. The gap between him and Rizwan in the race for the first place has reduced to less than 100 points. Rizwan played an inning of 98 runs in the ongoing domestic T20 series match against New Zealand. Whose direct benefit they have got. Rizwan has now moved from 798 to 811 points.

Although we have to understand that even though Suryakumar Yadav has been dismissed for zero in three consecutive matches in ODIs and he could not take advantage of the only opportunity he got in Test cricket, but there has been no decrease in his shine in T20 International. His form was good till the India-New Zealand T20 series played in January. His form deteriorated after the start of the India-Australia ODI series.

Babar Azam is in third place in the latest ICC T20 rankings. On the other hand, Kiwi batsman Mark Chapman, who scored a century in the Pakistan-New Zealand T20 series, jumped 45 places. He has reached the 35th position.
