Toyota Innova Hycross giving 1097 km mileage in full tank introduced in India, know specifications

Toyota has introduced the Innova Hycross car in India, which is an SUV like the current Innova, but a hybrid car. The Toyota Innova Hycross is equipped with a 5th generation hybrid system. Along with the launch, the company has also started booking the car. Regarding the mileage, Toyota has claimed that the new Innova Hycross can run 20 km in one liter of fuel.

There are a total of 5 variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross including the hybrid-electric version, GX, G (petrol engine) and VX, ZX and ZX (O). It will be made available with 7-seat and 8-seat configuration options. The new Toyota Innova Hycross is offered in Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Avant Grade Bronze Metallic and new Blackish Edgeha Glass Flake color options. The Toyota Innova Highcross is likely to be showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2023 and prices are expected to start from Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom). At present, the company has not disclosed its price.

The bookings for the Toyota Innova Hycross have started with a token amount of Rs 50,000. The new Highcross will reach dealerships in mid-January 2023. Toyota will offer the new Innova Highcross with a standard warranty of 3 years/1,00,000 km and an optional extended warranty of up to 5 years/2,20,000 km. In addition, the company is offering 8 years/1,60,000 kms warranty on the hybrid battery.

The Innova Hycross has been introduced with two new colors – Black and Dark Chestnut and Chestnut. It gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The company has included features like a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 9-speaker JBL audio system, powered ottoman seats for the second row, mood lighting and powered tailgate.

Coming to the powertrain, the new Innova Hycross gets a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid engine that is capable of delivering a fuel efficiency of 21.1 kmpl. The company claims that the car is capable of delivering an impressive range of 1097 Km with a full tank. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds.

On the other hand, in terms of output, its new TNGA 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with CVT can generate maximum power of 174 PS, while the 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine with e-drive can generate 186 PS. Capable of giving maximum output of Rs.

The new Toyota Innova Highcross gets the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which includes dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam, lane change assist, blind spot monitor, 6 SRS airbags, electronic parking brake, panoramic view monitor with dynamic back guides, ABS with Features like EBD and rear disc brake are included.
