New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will send its men’s and women’s cricket teams to participate in the upcoming Asian Games 2023. The BCCI had earlier refused to send its teams to the Asiad 2023. Cricket competitions will be played in T20 format in the Asian Games to be held in China.

According to the news of the Indian Express, since when the Asian Games will be held, at the same time the Indian cricket team will be playing the ODI World Cup at home. In such a situation, BCCI will send its B team in the men’s section in the Asiad. On the other hand, if we talk about the women’s category, India’s top women’s cricket team will present its claim in the Asiad. The Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from 23 September to 8 October. At the same time, the ICC World Cup will be played from 5 October to 23 November. BCCI will send the list of players to the Indian Olympic Association by June 30.
