Senior India pacer Umesh Yadav took his first wicket in the County Championship representing Middlesex against Worcestershire. Umesh took his first County Championship wicket on the second day of the match. Middlesex have signed 34-year-old pacer Umesh for the remainder of the season in place of Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. Umesh dismisses Taylor Cornell.
Umesh bowled Kornal, who scored 11 runs. This Indian fast bowler took one wicket for 45 runs in 14 overs. On the second day, Middlesex bundled out Worcestershire for 191 runs and made 180 for six in the second innings to take a 177-run lead. Middlesex had scored 188 runs in the first innings.

Before Umesh, experienced batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, all-rounder Washington Sundar and Krunal Pandya are playing county cricket in the current season. Pujara plays for Sussex, while Sundar and Krunal have signed with Lancashire and Warwickshire respectively. Umesh has also shown amazing in batting after bowling.
