Sydney Thunder had a target of 140 runs but their entire team was dismissed in 5.5 overs in front of the fiery balls of Henry Thornton and Wes Agar. This is the shortest innings in the history of men’s T20 cricket. Adelaide won the match by 124 runs.

Sydney Thunder’s innings ended in only 30 minutes. Thornton tore through his top order and took five wickets for three runs. Egar took four wickets while Matthew Short got one wicket. Earlier, the record for the lowest score in professional T20 cricket was in the name of Turkey, who scored 21 against Czech Republic in 2019.
