The pair of Shami and Siraj broke down after wreaking havoc on the Kangaroos
Both impressed with their pace bowling at the Wankhede Stadium
New Delhi. On the basis of the deadly bowling of fast bowlers Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, India piled Australia (IND vs AUS) for 188 runs in the first ODI played at Wankhede. After this, due to the restrained innings of KL Rahul, India registered a resounding victory. Team India has gone ahead 1-0 in the 3-match series. A video is going viral on social media in which Mohammad Siraj is seen interviewing fellow bowler on the ground after the match. The second ODI of the series will be played in Visakhapatnam on 19 March.
BCCI uploaded a video on its official Twitter handle on Saturday. In the video, Mohammed Siraj is seen taking an interview with pacer Mohammed Shami. In the video, Siraj asks veteran fast bowler Shami, ‘You cast a killer spell. You played a Test match, after that you came here. Later there was practice for two days. One day was optional because we gave you time for recovery. But you did not come to practice on both the days and went straight to play the match. The way you bowled in this heat is commendable. How do you manage it? On this Shami said that brother, you did not play Test match in Ahmedabad. After 40 overs, I think I needed recovery. I completed that recovery and came to play the match.
