Pakistan captain Babar Azam misses out on century in Karachi Test
In the first innings of the Multan Test, he was dismissed close to a century.
new Delhi. Pakistan captain Babar Azam missed a century in the second consecutive match of the Test series being played against England. The last match of the three-match Test series is being played in Karachi. On the first day of the match, Pakistan’s team came out to bat and captain Babar played a brilliant inning but he missed reaching close to the century.
After Multan, now missed in Karachi too
Captain Babar batted fiercely in the first innings for Pakistan, standing on the verge of a clean sweep against England. He completed his half century by hitting 6 fours in 74 balls. Taking the innings forward carefully, he took a step towards the century. Babar was batting on 78 off 122 balls with 9 fours but a good throw and promptness of wicketkeeper Ben Fox forced him to return. Fox blew the wicket on Harry Brook’s throw and Babar once again missed a century.
