Moin Ali took test after 2 years
New Delhi. The first Test of the Ashes series is being played between England and Australia in Birmingham and the first 2 days of the game were thrilling. England had declared the innings on the first day itself at a score of 393/8. In response, Australia scored 311 runs for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of the second day’s play on the basis of a century by Usman Khawaja (126). Australia is still 82 runs behind England. All-rounder Moin Khan has returned to the team for England in this Test. He has returned to the team again after 2 years from retirement and as soon as he arrived, Moin proved why captain Ben Stokes had requested him to return from retirement.
Moin Ali first showed his power with the bat and then as soon as the ball came in hand, he told why he is considered so dangerous in Test cricket. Moeen Ali has taken 2 wickets in his comeback test so far. He took the first wicket of WTC FINAL hero Travis Head. He trapped Head in his flighted ball and Head’s innings ended on 50 runs. After this he made Cameron Green his victim. Everyone was stunned to see the manner in which Moin bowled this Australian all-rounder.
