New Delhi. Middle order batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who plays domestic cricket for Mumbai, has again scored a century in the Ranji Trophy 2021-22. In the final against Madhya Pradesh, Sarfaraz Khan displayed tremendous batting and scored his fourth century of the season. Sarfaraz scored a century against Madhya Pradesh in 190 balls and put his team in a strong position. This century has come at a time when Mumbai’s team needed it. In the 87-year history of Ranji Trophy, Sarfaraz Khan is only the third player to score more than 900 runs in two seasons. Earlier this feat was done by Wasim Jaffer and Ajay Sharma.

Mumbai’s 374 runs in the first innings
Mumbai has scored 374 runs in its first innings. Sarfaraz was the highest scorer for Mumbai. He played an innings of 134 runs in 243 balls. Earlier, opener Prithvi Shaw contributed 47 and Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 78 runs. Armaan, who came to bat at number 3, scored 26 runs in 56 balls. Gaurav Yadav took 4 wickets for Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, Anubhav Agarwal dismissed 3 batsmen of Mumbai.
