new Delhi. The series of 3 Test matches between Australia and South Africa started on Saturday at the Gabba ground in Brisbane. Australia won the toss and decided to bowl. Kangaroo bowlers sent the entire South African team to the pavilion for 152 runs even before the tea break. In response, South Africa also bowled brilliantly and dropped Australia’s 5 wickets for 145 runs. Australian opener David Warner once again failed to play a big innings and got out without opening the account. He was sent back to the pavilion by the South African player with a tremendous catch.
The South African team, which was dismissed on a low score in the first innings of the match, took the field with a special strategy against David Vonner. Kagiso Rabada, who came to bowl the first over of the innings, kept short leg for Warner. He bowled the very first ball short and on the body line. The Australian batsman could somehow play this ball. The ball hit the upper part of the bat and was going over Khaya Jondo standing at short leg, but Jondo did not let the ball go. He sprung at the right time and ended Warner’s innings even before it started by taking a brilliant catch.
