New Delhi. The India-A team has reached there before Team India’s tour of Bangladesh in December. India-A team has started the unofficial Test series of 2 Tests with Bangladesh-A here. India got off to a great start in the first unofficial Test being played at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar. On the first day of this test, India-A bundled out Bangladesh-A for 112 runs and then the opening pair of Indian openers Abhimanyu Easwaran and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 120 runs without losing wickets till the end of the day’s play. In this way, India got an 8-run lead over Bangladesh-A on the very first day.

On the first day of this unofficial test, India-A also got lucky. In fact, in the 9th over of the Indian innings, when India-A captain Easwaran played a ball from fast bowler Khalid Ahmed towards mid-on and ran for a single. But, the Bangladeshi fielder standing at mid-on was ready and he quickly ran towards the ball and after catching the ball, threw it straight towards the non-striker’s end. The bails fell as soon as the ball hit the stump. Seeing this, Bangladeshi players strongly appealed for run out. But, the Bangladeshi umpire ignored this appeal. TV replays also showed that Easwaran was outside the crease when the bails fell. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.
