He scored this century against Bangladesh on Saturday 10th December while batting hard. With this, he broke the big record of former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in international cricket.

Virat Kohli reached his Fifty on 54 balls with the help of 4 fours. After this, he was seen supporting Ishaan Kishan, who was batting at the other end. Completed the century by scoring 11 fours and 1 six in 85 balls. This was his total 72nd century in international cricket. With this, former Australia captain Ricky Ponting, who had a total of 71 international centuries, has now been left behind.

Kohli’s century after 3 years

The Indian veteran touched the century mark for the first time after 3 years in ODI cricket. The last time Virat played a century in Port of Spain against the West Indies in August 2019. Since then, he has played many half-century innings and got out after scoring above 80 three times. Virat finally scored a century against Bangladesh on 10 December 2022.
