Australia had scored 480 runs in the first innings. In response to this, Team India scored 571 runs. In this way India took a lead of 90 runs. Monday was the last day of this test. Australia had scored 175 runs in their second innings at the loss of 2 wickets. After this, both the captains and the match officials decided to end the match on a draw.
Virat Kohli did a special job after the Ahmedabad Test ended on a draw. He gifted his signed jersey to Australian batsman Usman Khawaja and wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey.
