The 15th season of IPL was not very good for Virat Kohli. In the ongoing season, he has been able to score only two half-centuries in 14 matches. During this, he expressed his concern about his form in several interviews. Kohli has not scored a century in competitive cricket for almost three years and the current season of the Indian Premier League has been his worst season so far.
However, in his last league match against Gujarat Titans, Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings of 73 runs in 54 balls. Before this match, in a conversation with ‘Star Sports’, Virat Kohli has shared the anecdote of the conversation with the highest run-scorer in the ongoing season, Jos Buttler.
Virat Kohli revealed that Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler had a conversation with him, during which Buttler asked him a question. Virat Kohli in conversation with Harbhajan Singh for Star Sports said, “Jos Buttler came to me after the Rajasthan Royals match and said I want to ask you something and I told him you are wearing an orange cap, what do you ask me Wish I was not able to score runs and we laughed about it too.
Kohli has had a very disappointing 15th season of the IPL with the bat, scoring just two half-centuries in 14 matches for RCB. Kohli has been dismissed on the first ball thrice in the current season. He has been able to score only 309 runs and his average and strike rate are not up to his potential.
