In the video shared by CSK, Dravid can be heard talking about taking the pressure off as a cricketer, which he feels is an essential part of being successful in the game. Chennai Super Kings wrote in the caption accompanying the video, ‘From the pages of the new coach’s passion. Wall of inspiration.’
Dravid, who played 164 Tests and 344 ODIs for India, will take charge from the home series against New Zealand starting November 17. He will replace Ravi Shastri, whose tenure ends after the ICC T20 World Cup. The Indian team has to play three T20s and two Test matches with New Zealand. Dravid has scored more than 10,000 runs in Tests and ODIs.
