In the final match of T20 World Cup 2021, Australia and New Zealand will take on the field against each other on 14 November i.e. tonight. The Kiwi team has stepped into the final of the Cricket World Cup for the first time. At the same time, the Kangaroo team has played the final once before, but then the bet slipped out of hand. Looking at the current form and performance of the players, both the teams are looking very strong. It is very difficult to say who will be able to lift this trophy for the first time. However, according to former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram, Australia will have the upper hand in the final match.
Talking to India Today, Wasim Akram said, “Australia are not favorites based on past performances in T20s. David Warner is one of the main players of his team, especially within the T20 format. He is a very aggressive batsman and he is looking in very good form at the moment. Although Steve Smith has struggled in Australia’s lineup so far, he still looks strong. Their fast bowling attack looks very strong, Stoinis and Maxwell will be their fifth bowler option in the knockout match, which New Zealand will keep an eye on.
The former Pakistan fast bowler told the Kangaroo team the upper hand in the final. “But Australia are looking very strong, especially after the semi-final win. If you ask me who is going to win tomorrow’s match, I think Australia has the upper hand in Sunday’s final. Australia is also far ahead of the Kiwi team in terms of quick cricket statistics. Both the teams have played 14 T20 matches against each other so far, out of which 9 have been won by the Kangaroo team, while New Zealand has won only four.
