‘What Sachin Sir, Virat Bhai did…’, Shubman Gill said on comparison with veterans – I am nothing

New Delhi. This year has been wonderful for Shubman Gill so far. Gill’s bat is speaking in all three formats – Test, ODI and T20. In IPL 2023, Gill created a furore. He has scored 3 centuries so far this season. Virat Kohli is the only Indian batsman who has scored 4 centuries in a season of IPL. Gill can match Virat in the final of IPL 2023 against Chennai Super Kings. In the same year, apart from scoring a double century in ODIs, Gill also scored his first century in T20.

Since this dazzling performance, Shubman Gill has been compared to Virat Kohli and former legend Sachin Tendulkar. He is being considered as a separate star of Indian cricket. But, Shubman Gill does not believe so. According to him, the way veterans like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have inspired young players is beyond everything.
