The final match of IPL 2023 is to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans and the match had to be postponed due to rain on the first day. The Indian Premier League started on 31 March between the defending champion Gujarat Titans and the 4-time winner Chennai Super Kings. Now the final of the tournament is going to be between these two teams. The final match is to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Fans were frozen in the stadium even in the rain to support their respective teams.

Talking to Sportskeeda, former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram said, I was already expecting that the Chennai and Gujarat teams would finish in the top four. The Gujarat team depends more on Shubman Gill and Captain Hardik Pandya.

He further said, talking about the Chennai team, they have made it to the finals for the 10th time. This team knows very well how to make a comeback. Even if they have lost their wickets early. This team knows very well that the way to keep calm. Others may have a different opinion, but for me, 60 percent Chennai and 40 percent final match is expected to go in favor of Gujarat team.
