New Delhi. In the Mega Auction of IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians bought Arjun Tendulkar and included him in the team. Earlier he was also a part of Mumbai in 2021. It was the misfortune of Arjun that he did not get a chance to play a single match in the last two seasons. After all, why was Arjun Tendulkar not included in the playing XI of Mumbai Indians in the 15th season? The team’s bowling coach Shane Bond has given a statement on this matter. Arjun has been in the team of Mumbai Indians continuously for the last two seasons.

Former New Zealand fast bowler and Mumbai Indians bowling coach Shane Bond believes that Arjun needs to improve his batting and fielding to find a place in the team’s playing XI. Talking to Sportskeeda, Shane Bond said, ‘He will have to work harder to get a place in the team. It’s one thing to build a team when you’re playing for a team like Mumbai. But entering the playing XI is another matter.

Need for improvement in batting-fielding
Shane Bond further said, ‘Arjun has to work very hard now. When you play at this level, there is a fine line to give chances to everyone. But you have to earn your place. Arjun needs to work on his batting and fielding before making a place in the team. Hopefully he can go ahead and make it to the team.
