New Delhi. IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants has terminated its contract with Andy Flower. In his place, former Australian coach Justin Langer has been made the new head coach of the team. After the end of the agreement with Flower, such reports were coming out that Gautam Gambhir is also going to leave Lucknow and may join Kolkata Knight Riders.

According to Dainik Jagran’s report, Gambhir is in talks with KKR. Under his leadership, the franchise has been successful in winning the title in the year 2012 and 2014 by performing well. In the year 2018, he retired from the game. Presently he is the mentor of LSG. Under his supervision, the team was able to reach the playoffs in 2022 and 2023.

Justin Langer has scored a total of 23 centuries and three double centuries in his cricket career. Langer played a total of 105 Tests and eight ODIs for the Kangaroo team. Meanwhile, 7696 and 160 runs came out of his bat respectively. His highest score in Test cricket is 250 runs.
