CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan recently met Dhoni in Mumbai after surgery and gave an update on his health. Dhoni will not be seen in the field till February and will take 3 weeks off before recovery starts.

Kashi Vishwanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings said, “Dhoni knows very well what he has to do next. If he has to take any decision related to retirement from IPL, then he will go directly to N.K. Will go and talk to Srinivasan. His journey with Chennai Super Kings started in 2008 and is going to continue.

Vishwanathan further said that Dhoni was suffering from knee pain from the first match itself. But, he didn’t mention it till the finale. He never complained about his knee problem. However, everyone knew how much trouble Dhoni was in. He was not able to run. After winning the final, he had said that now I will undergo knee surgery. After that he went to Mumbai and is currently recovering. It may take 3 months for them to be fully fit. After this, he can be seen practicing in Dhoni ground.
