Captain Alyssa Healy (58 runs) shared an 82-run partnership for the third wicket with Tahlia McGrath (50 runs), while continuing the excellent rhythm. While chasing the target, Mumbai had lost their two wickets for 58 runs. Hayley Mathews got out after scoring 12 runs. Yastika Bhatia hit 142 runs in 27 balls with a strike rate of 155.
Nat Sciver-Brunt played an unbeaten inning of 45 runs off 31 balls. Harmanpreet Kaur supported him at the other end. Harmanpreet also scored an unbeaten 53 off 33 balls. Due to which the Mumbai team made this target in 17.3 overs only. Ishaq was the most successful bowler for Mumbai Indians, taking three wickets for 33 runs in four overs, while Amelia Kerr took two wickets for the same number of runs.
Healy, who scored an unbeaten 96 in the previous match, hit seven fours and a six in his 46-ball fifty, while McGrath hit nine fours in 37 balls. UP Warriors lost the wicket of Devika Vaidya (06) in the very second over, who was lbw to Saika Ishaq in an attempt to sweep.
