Women’s World Cup: Who is that 21-year-old English spinner, who has done all the work of Indian team

new Delhi: The Indian women’s team had to face a crushing defeat against England in the Women’s World Cup 2022. Most of the credit for defeating the Indian team goes to the 21-year-old England spinner, who was playing her first in the World Cup. Off-spinner Charlie Dean dismissed four Indian players, including Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored a century in the previous match. This is also the best performance of Charlie Dean’s ODI career.

Due to this performance of off-spinner Charlotte Dean aka Charlie Dean, England bundled out the Indian women’s team for just 134 runs. Charlie Dean took 4 wickets for just 23 runs in his spell of 8.2 overs. Anya Srabsole also took 2 wickets.
India’s 2 batters were run out.

England’s team, which had made a hat-trick of defeat, needed to score 135 runs to win from India, which they did easily. Captain Heather Knight (53) scored an unbeaten half-century from his side. Natalie Shiver played a brilliant innings of 45 runs. Both of them shared a 65-run partnership for the third wicket.
