Eoin Morgan, who won the World Cup for the first time to England under his captaincy, is going to return to the field once again. Morgan, who has retired from international cricket, will be seen playing in the second season of Legends League Cricket. Morgan will join the league along with former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, Pathan brothers- Irfan and Yusuf, Australia’s Brett Lee, Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan. The league is going to start from September 4, in which four teams and 110 international players will be seen playing.
Morgan, who won the World Cup for England in 2019, said, “It’s a great feeling and I am very excited to be a part of the league.” In the first season of the tournament, former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England were divided into three teams representing India, Asia and the rest of the world.
