If we look at the relations between India and Fiji, it becomes clear that how much importance PM Modi has given to it. In the year 2014, PM had started a platform named Forum for India Pacific Island Corporation during his historic visit. Under this, mutual cooperation between India and 14 countries of the Pacific Ocean started. At the time of the COP 26 meeting in Glasgow in 2021, another forum named Infrastructure for Resilient Island States was formed with Fiji and other countries. Whether it was the disaster of Cyclone Winston and Vasa in 2021 on Fiji or the hit of Corona, India was the first to help.

In the year 2023, not only 75 years of India-Fiji relations have been completed, but the World Hindi Conference is also being celebrated in Fiji. In this conference, there will be a discussion on Artificial Intelligence from the traditional knowledge of Hindi, as well as discussion on IT and Hindi of the 21st century.
