Wriddhiman Saha’s spilled pain, said – When someone raises a finger on your honesty…

New Delhi. Wriddhiman Saha has broken his silence on breaking ties with the Bengal cricket team. He has made it clear that even if he is selected in the Bengal team for the knockout match of the Ranji Trophy, he will not play for this team in this season. Saha said that he is in talks with many cricket associations. But from which team he will play domestic cricket, it has not been finalized yet. In fact, last year an office-bearer of the Cricket Association of Bengal had questioned Saha’s commitment. Because of this, he got angry and broke the 15-year-old relationship with the Bengal team.

Saha, who made his first-class debut for Bengal in 2007, said that he was deeply saddened to take this decision after playing for Bengal for 15 years. He said that I played for Bengal for so many years. Yet my integrity and honesty were questioned, which was disappointing for me.

Heartbroken to question honesty: Saha
Saha told Sportsstar on the dispute with the Bengal team, “It is a very sad feeling for me too that after playing for Bengal for so long, I had to go through such a situation. It is disappointing that people make such comments and question your integrity. As a player, I had never faced such a situation before, but now that it has happened, I also need to (move on).”

‘I will meet the CAB president personally’
He further said, “I had made up my mind that I would not play for Bengal, I had informed (Cricket Association of Bengal President Avishek Dalmiya) over phone. But, I will meet him personally and will complete the formalities related to my departure from the Bengal team and get the NOC.”

It is now clear that Saha will now play domestic cricket with the new team in the next season. But, which team he will join, it is not clear yet. Saha said, “I have spoken to many people, but no decision has been taken yet. There is still time left for the next season. Whenever I take a decision regarding this, I will inform everyone about it.

‘Happy to win IPL 2022’
Wriddhiman Saha played an important role in helping Gujarat Titans win the IPL title in the debut season itself. Regarding this victory, he said, “I took part in the IPL so that I could contribute to the victory of Gujarat Titans. I’m glad we won the title, but I’m not thinking much about what will happen next or what should have happened? My job was to perform and I did just that.”
