New guest in Australia’s coaching staff

Australia has added former Zimbabwe captain Andy Flower as a consultant with their team. According to a report in Cricbuzz, Flower will assist the Australian coaching staff in the upcoming WTC final and Ashes series.
Let us tell you that Andy Flower has more than a decade of coaching experience. The 55-year-old Flower has been the head coach of the England cricket team from 2009 to 2014. Prior to this, he has also served on the post of director. Under his supervision, the England team has won the Ashes series thrice.

Andy Flower currently serves on Lego around the world. In IPL, he is the head coach of KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants. Under his supervision, the Lucknow team has managed to make it to the playoffs in both its seasons.
Andy Flower’s Cricket Career:
Andy Flower represented Zimbabwe between 1992 and 2003. Meanwhile, he played a total of 276 international matches. This includes 63 Tests and 276 ODIs. Flower has 4794 runs in 112 innings of Test at an average of 51.55. At the same time, he has scored 6786 runs in 208 innings of ODIs at an average of 35.34. He also tried his hand at bowling for Zimbabwe, but he did not get any success here.
