Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian bowler to take more than three wickets in ODIs at Lords


The Indian team bowled out England for 246 runs in 49 overs in the second ODI at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Yuzvendra Chahal was the most successful bowler for India in this match. Chahal took four wickets for 47 runs in 10 overs in the match. He picked up five wickets for 102 runs in 21.3 overs by dismissing Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root and Ben Stokes early on during his bowling. Chahal then gave India a big breakthrough by dismissing Moeen Ali. Moeen Ali scored 47 runs.

Chahal creates history at Lord’s

Chahal has become the first Indian bowler to take four or more wickets in a match in ODI cricket history at Lord’s, known as the Mecca of cricket. Chahal has broken the records of Mohinder Amarnath, Madan Lal, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh in this case. Before Chahal, these four bowlers had taken three wickets each in one of the ODI matches at Lord’s.
